Hillary Swank only makes two types of films – ones that win her Oscars and ones that are absolute drivel and which she’s awful in. We’ll have to hope that the upcoming Amelia, a biopic of the famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart, who broke records in the early days of airplanes before going missing over the Pacific, is one of the good ones. Swank certainly looks the part anyway. The film, directed by India’s Mira Nair (Vanity Fair), also stars Richard Gere, Ewan McGregor and Christopher Eccleston, and while it’s out in the US this week, it’ll be hitting the UK on November 13th, just in time for its Oscar run. Two new featurettes taking a look behind-the-scenes of the film have now emerged, so click below to take a look. One concentrates on how they used surprisingly few special effects in the film, while the other is a bit of a Hillary Swank love-fest.
