As the broadway musical isn’t particularly well known, Nine is a bit of a tough sell, and so the makers are pushing the fact that it stars Daniel Day Lewis, Marion Cottillard, Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren and Judi Dench (all Oscar-winners), along with the likes of Kate Hudson and Fergie, as well that it’s directed by Chicago’s Rob Marshall. To get the excitement up for they’ve released a rehearsal montage, showing all the stars preparing for and filming this all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza, about a film director caught between the many women in his life.
