It must be nice if you want to be a director and your sister is a famous star. Anna Paquin’s brother, Andrew, may not have done much of note yet, but now he’s managed to convince Anna and her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer to star in his new movie, Open House. Of course, Moyer and Paquin are engaged, which probably made it easier to get him onboard the new film.
According to Dread Central, the film will will be a thriller that concerns a young and wealthy couple who host an open house to sell off their sell their palatial home. They are horrified to find out days later that one potential buyer never left their house. It’s a decent enough set-up for a thriller, and apparently Tricia Helfer, Rachel Blanchard, Brian Geraghty, Jessica Collins, Larry Sullivan, Gabriel Olds, Gerald Downey, and Mia Riverton have also signed up to appear in the movie.
Sadly if you’re an aspiring director, you probably don’t have any famous relatives to call upon to help you get your film off the ground, but it certainly seems family connections are going to raise Andrew Paquin’s profile exponentially.
