Despite the presence of Zac Efron and director Richard Linklater, Me And Orson Welles has taken longer to get into cinemas than you’d expect. It premiered at film festivals last year, but it’s only hitting UK cinemas on December 4th. However the delay seems to be to ensure the movie is lined up ready for Oscar nominations. The film tells the true story of Richard Samuels, a high school student who inadvertantly got cast in Orson Welles theatre production of Julius Caesar in 1937, getting taken on a whirlwind journey into the inside working of Welles and the theatre world.
