Ed Zwick’s upcoming movie, Love And Other Drugs, has added Judy Greer to its cast roster, who’ll be joining Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway in the upcoming film. According to Variety, Greer will play a pharmaceutical company trainee instructor in the adaptation of Jamie Reidy’s novel, Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman, a kiss and tell about the drugs industry, which lifts the lid of some of big pharma’s dodgier practices.
Gyllenhaal will play the main character, a drug salesman who begins to question his career after he meets Anne Hathaway’s Parkinson’s disease sufferer. Josh Gad has also been cast in the film as Gyllenhaal’s brother.
Although never the leading lady, Greer is one of the top actresses in Hollywood when it comes to supporting roles for 30-something actresses, having appeared in Adaptation, The Village, Elizabethtown, 27 Dresses and numerous other films and TV series. She’ll soon be seen in the romatic comedy Love Happens opposite Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart.
