They only started filming the movie a couple of weeks ago, but the first pics from Buried have already popped up online. The film sees Ryan Reynolds playing a civilian contractor who’s kidnapped in Iraq and wakes up buried in a coffin in the desert, armed only with a cell phone, a candle and a knife. In fact Reynolds is pretty much the only person in Rodrigo Cortes’ film, and as you can see from the first pictures, they’re really trying to make things claustrophobic.
While it might not work, it’s a really interesting idea, and we look forward to seeing the movie when it’s released next year.
