Ah, bless him, he’s all grown up. Well, sort of. Zac Efron may still be playing a high school student in Me and Orson Welles, but he’s doing it in a period drama about a teenager who gets cast in Welles’ Mercury Theater production of Julius Caesar in 1937. It’s a much more meaty role for Efron, although for a long time we’ve been wondering if the film would ever actually turn up in cinemas. The movie was completed last year and screened at the Toronto Film Festival, but no US or UK release date has been announced. However the film does seem to be getting a bit closer with the release of a teaser trailer, which does make the movie look quite good. The film should be out sometime this year, but click below to see the trailer.
