While some have been underwhelmed by the trailer for The Princess And The Frog, I still can’t help getting excited about Disney’s return to handdrawn animation. Now some pencil test footage has popped up on YouTube, which was apparently shown at Comic Con. Pencil tests are what they do to check whether things are working before going to the massive expense of fully animating a scene. The footage also includes tests of the mixing of handdrawn elements with CG backgrounds. It’s well worth a look, so click below to see it.
