The Coen Brothers are returning this autumn with A Serious Man. It looks like a bit of a return to their old style of films, rather than the bigger-scale, more star-driven movies they’ve been known for in the past few years (No Country For Old Men, Burn After Reading). With a little known cast, the film is a black comedy set in 1967 about Larry Gopnik, a Midwestern professor who is surrounded by people who seem intent on screwing up his life, from a brother who won’t move out of his house to a colleague he’s fallen in love with. This causes him to seek advice from three rabbis about how he can become a righteous man. The movie is out in the UK on November 20th, but click below to see the trailer for the Coen’s A Serious Man.
