Burma VJ is the powerful documentary that’s out in UK cinemas now, which uses smuggled footage to tell the story of the 2007 protests in Burma by thousands of monks, as filmed by secret video journalists. Thanks to ChannelBee we’ve got this fascinating interview with the director of the film, Anders Ostergard, and one of the VJs, whose identity has to be protected as he’s still in danger of arrest in Burma for chronicling the unrest in the closed country.
