The first posters for next summer’s blockbuster videogame adaptation, Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, have now popped up on Movies.ie. Directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire) and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film is due to hit UK cinemas on May 28th, 2010, but they’re already trying to build the hype with the first preview posters and official images hitting the web. The posters are fairly interesting, as they’re don’t look like your typical all-action blockbuster affairs, instead making the movie look a bit dreamy and enigmatic. The Jake Gyllenhaal one just seems a bit exotic, while the Gemma Arterton one looks like a magazine cover. We’re sure we’ll get more typical posters closer to the movie’s release, but it’s an interesting first look.
