It’s amazing how much fuss is being made about The Runaways, the new film about Joan Jett and her band, which is based on Cherie Currie’s book, Neon Angel. The film chronicles The Runaways from 1975-1977, telling how a group of teenage girls formed the band, but depsite success things start to spiral out of control. Sounds likes the normal old rock story then. The film stars Kritsten Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Currie.
