Pre-orders have now opened for the UK DVD and Blu-ray release of Angels & Demons, the sequel to the hit flick The Da Vinci Code. The film will hit the shop shelves on September 14th, and we’ve even got some early cover artwork (subject to change) which you can take a look at to the right.
Although there hasn’t been any official news yet on the special features, a quick bit of research suggests that the release could include a bevy of featurettes. There are numerous ‘Path Of Illumination’ featurettes rumoured, which take a short look at the places Tom Hank’s Robert Langdon visits during the hit movie. These appear to be Bonus-view Blu-ray features, which would pop up while you watch the movie. On top of there are featurettes called, ‘Cern: Pushing The Frontiers Of Human Knowledge, Writing Angels & Demons, Characters In Search Of The True Story, Angels & Demons: The Full Story, Handling Props, This Is An Ambigram, and Amazing Minds.
None of these will definitely be included in either the DVD or Blu-ray releases, although they have all gone through the BBFC, which suggests they’ll be on at least one of the versions.
