The first image of Alex Pettyfer in full make-up in the upcoming Beastly has been released. The film is a modern live action update of Beauty And The Beast, with Vanessa Hudgen in the Belle role and Pettyfer getting all uglied up. That said, the makers seem to have realised it wouldn’t be a good plan to make him too ugly – otheriwse tweens won’t swoon – so they’ve gone for moody and vaguely tribal instead of full-on hairy.
