A whole raft of voice talent has been unveiled for the upcoming movie, Zookeeper, in which Kevin James plays, well, a zookeeper, who suddenly discovers that animals can talk, and that they’re breaking their silence to help him get the object of his affections. To be honest I can’t imagine giraffes really care whether their keepers are getting it on, but there you go.
It’s now being reported that Adam Sandler has signed up to voice a monkey, Sylvester Stallone will be a lion, Judd Apatow is playing an elephant, Jon Favreau is going to be a bear and Cher will play a giraffe. Rosario Dawson meanwhile will be the obligatory love interest.
Although it doesn’t sound like the most thrilling premise ever imagine, James managed to turn the awful sounding Paul Blart: Mall Cop into a hit, so maybe he’ll be able to do the same here, and he’s certainly got a starry voice cast to help him.
