Judd Apatow’s new comedy, Funny People (out August 28th), stars Adam Sandler as a fading comedian called George Simmons, who learns he might be about to die and so decides to mentor a newbie (Seth Rogen) in order to do something meaningful with his final months.
As part of the movie Apatow had to create some bits of the films Simmons is supposed to have starred in, and one of those fake features is ‘Re-do’, which is pitched as “Craig, a workaholic lawyer, never made time for his relationships. Alone and depressed on his 40th birthday, he wonders about the life he could have lead. But be careful what you wish for…you might just find yourself in diapers! When a wizard gives Craig a second chance at his youth, he discovers that sometimes it takes becoming a baby to learn how to be a man.”
So basically that means Adam Sandler’s head on a baby’s body! A ‘Re-do’ clip has now popped up on FunnyOrDie, but take a look below to see this unusual promo for Apatow’s new flick. It certainly looks like Funny People could be worth a look.
