You may not have heard much about it yet, but one of the most bizarre and fascinting flicks of the year looks set to the animated 9, produced by Tim Burton and directed by Shane Acker. Basically it’s about nine burlap dolls that are brought to life by a mad scientist, who then have to take on a post-apocalytic world overrun by robots. So it’s basically what would happen if Skynet took over, but instead of John Connor, we had the reject department of Toys R Us.
