Bryce Dallas Howard can now add screenwriter to her CV as she’s just sold her first script to Universal and Imagine Entertainment. The screenplay, which she co-wrote with Dane Charbeneau, is an ensemble drama that deals with the quarter-life crisis many in their 20s go through. A group of 20-somethings meet up in New York when one of their childhood friends falls into a coma and try to deal with where their lives have gone.
Bryce has apparently been working on the script while filming her part as Kate Connor in Terminator: Salvation.
Imagine Entertainment is part-owned by Bryce’s father, Ron Howard, so it does look like family connections help when you’re trying to sell your first script. Apparently he may come on board to direct the movie, but no decisions on this score have yet been made.
