Although not fully substantiated, it appears audiences could end up getting a longer version of Quentin Tarantino’s new film than was seen at the Cannes Film Festival. After a mixed reception from critics, it’s been reported that Universal has been talking to the director about some changes, which may include the addition of a new scene.
While most of those involved in the making of the movie are reported to be happy with the film, the Cannes audience had a far more mixed response. At the moment the movie clocks in at a seemingly lengthy two hours and 27 minutes, but this is substantially less that the two hours 48 minutes Tarantino is allowed to make the film according to his contract.
The film is due to hit UK cinemas on August 21st.
