First Proper Look At Disney’s Zootopia – Animals are getting their own city

10th June 2015 By Tim Isaac

This year we’re getting two Pixar films, but to make room for that Disney animation has no big summer or autumn movie this year, but they’re gearing up for a March 2016 release on Zootopia.

While there’s been some concept art released before, now Disney has brought us the first proper picture of the two main characters, a fox and a rabbit, which, as you can probably tell, live in a highly anthropomorphised world.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘In the animal city of Zootopia, a fast-talking fox who’s trying to make it big goes on the run when he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Zootopia’s top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they’re forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends.’

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Trailer – Katniss is going to war

9th June 2015 By Tim Isaac

For the first bit of this Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 trailer it seems things are going surprisingly well for Katniss and her allies. However it should come as no surprise to discover that doesn’t last long and soon the war that Part 1 promised is in full swing.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.’

The Martian Trailer – Plus a poster for Ridley Scott’s sci-fi starring Matt Damon

8th June 2015 By Tim Isaac

The Martian may be a sci-fi movie above, but the poster above looks just as much like a call to action for the women and gay men who go week at the needs at the sight of Matt Damon. I’m sure they’d be more than will to help rescue him from the Red Planet.

Here’s the synopsis: During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, Watney must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

‘Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring “the Martian” home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible, rescue mission. As these stories of incredible bravery unfold, the world comes together to root for Watney’s safe return. Based on a best-selling novel, and helmed by master director Ridley Scott, THE MARTIAN features a star studded cast that includes Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Donald Glover.’

The movie is due out later this year.
