14th July 2015 By Tim Isaac

There are still a lot of questions hanging over the reboot of Fantastic Four (rumours of extensive reshoots and problems with the original cut haven’t helped matters), but the trailer have actually looked pretty cool, and this ‘final’ promo is no exception.

Take a look at it below.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Suicide Squad First Look Trailer – The DC Comics bad guys get a shot at redemption

14th July 2015 By Tim Isaac

While it’s a safe bet Batman v Superman will do good business, 2015’s other major DC Comics adaptation, Suicide Squad, is a more uncertain proposition. It’s not surprising then that the film wanted to use Comic Con to introduce the world to the movie and they’ve now released the first look trailer for us all to see.

It’s certainly a potentially cool one, with a very detailed and different kind of comic book world to the one we’re used to – and the trailer also seems keen to silence those who’d already pre-judged Jared Leto as being wrong for The Joker.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘An all-star roster of actors has joined new action adventure Suicide Squad, bringing DC Comics’ super villain team to the big screen under the direction of David Ayer (“Fury”).

‘The film will star two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith (“The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Ali,” “Focus”) as Deadshot; Joel Kinnaman (“Run All Night”, “Robocop”) as Rick Flagg; Margot Robbie (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Focus,” upcoming the “Tarzan” movie) as Harley Quinn; Oscar winner Jared Leto (“Dallas Buyers Club,” “Alexander”) as the Joker; Jai Courtney (“Divergent,” “The Water Diviner”) as Boomerang; and Cara Delevingne (“Anna Karenina,” upcoming “Pan”) as Enchantress.

‘Ayer is also writing the script for Suicide Squad, which is being produced by Charles Roven (“The Dark Knight” trilogy, upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”) and Richard Suckle (“American Hustle”). Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Colin Wilson and Geoff Johns are serving as executive producers.’

The film will be in cinemas August 2016.

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice Trailer – Ben Affleck & Henry Cavill bring the dark & brooding

12th July 2015 By Tim Isaac

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice decided Comic Con was a good time to unveil the first full length trailer, and to show us this is a film that plans to be dark, brooding, epic and seemingly pretty intense. Along with Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman, it also gives us a look at Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.’

Take a look at the trailer below – it’s well worth watching. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is due out March 2016.
