Death At A Funeral Trailer – Get your first look at Chris Rock’s remake of the 2007 Brit comedy

7th December 2009 By Tim Isaac

Although the 2007 Brit-flick comedy, the Frank Oz directed Death at a Funeral, didn’t find much success in the US, it must have set Chris Rock’s brain racing as he jumped on board to produce an American version, directed by Neil Labute. Rock is also part of a strong ensemble cast including Danny Glover, Luke Wilson, James Marsden, Martin Lawrence and Zoe Saldana, in the tale of a funeral that gets ever more crazy as family secrets are exposed and bodies go missing. The film is out in the US in April and in the UK on June 4th, 2010, but click below to see the trailer.

Micmacs UK Trailer – New crazy Jean-Pierre Jeunet film coming soon

7th December 2009 By Tim Isaac

In what looks like a return to the odd whackiness of Delicatessen and The City of Lost Children, Jean-Pierre Jeunet is back with Micmacs. After a serjourn into the sentimental with Amelie and A Very long Engagement, Jeunet returns (after a five-year absence) with the story of a man who was nearly killed by a bullet to the head in a drive-by shooting, who sets out to find the those responsible, particularly those who made the ammo. It certainly looks action-packed and crazy, so click below to see the new UK trailer. Micmacs is in cinemas on January 8th, 2010.

The Road UK Trailer – New look at the post-apocalyptic Viggo Mortensen movie

4th December 2009 By Tim Isaac

This new UK trailer for The Road has just been released, and while it starts out quite similarly to the US promos, about halfway through it devierges and presents plenty of new footage. One thing that’s particularly noticeable is that while previous trailers have been rather bleak, this one presents a bit more hope than we’ve seen before, particularly with the music. The film stars Viggo Mortenson, as a man trying to protect his son in a barren post-apocalyptic wilderness, surrounded by danger both from the ashy environment and bands of lawless cannibals. The Road hits UK cinemas on January 8th.
