Knight And Day Trailer – Tom Cruise: Action comedy star

22nd December 2009 By Tim Isaac

When you think of Tom Cruise, the word ‘comedy’ doesn’t normally spring to mind. In fact he tends to be ridiculously po-faced, but with Kinght And Day he’s having a go at being an action comedy star, with Cameron Diaz in tow. She plays a normal women who gets caught up in Cruise’s espionage exploits whether she wants to or not, and ends up on an international journey with him to protect a powerful new energy source. We’ve now swapped the ET previw trailer for the proper one and you can see it by clicking below. It actually looks kind of cool. The film is in UK cinemas on July 2nd.

Kick-Ass: Hit Girl Red Band Trailer – One little girl who’s definitely not safe for work

22nd December 2009 By Tim Isaac

I think it’s fairly safe to say that few films have ever had this sort of language and violence coming from an 11-year-old girl. It this rude and blood-splattered new trailer we’re introduced to Kick-Ass character Hit Girl, the 11-year-old daughter of Nic Cage’s Big Daddy, who’s a foul-mouthed, gun toting vigilante in her own right. All I want to know is whether actress Chloe Moretz’s parents read the script before she signed on, as you wonder what they thought when the script called for their little darling to use the ‘c’ word and then blow someone’s brains out. However the trailer is quite cool, although only suitable for over 18s and NSFW. Kick-Ass is in cinemas in April, but click below if you’re over 18 and want to see the Hit Girl trailer.

Robin Hood International Trailer – A very different (and better) new look at Ridley Scott’s new movie

22nd December 2009 By Tim Isaac

Normally international versions of trailers may be a tiny bit different to the US cut – perhaps with a few alternate shots and a different release date – but the international Robin Hood trailer is completely different to the American version that appeared last week. For a start, it appears the whole movie wasn’t actually filmed in slow motion, and also it’s going to have some dialogue. While I wasn’t at all impressed by the first trailer, this one gives the Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe film a more epic feel and suggests we could be looking at something very good. The movie hits UK cinemas on May 14th.
