It’s only a few weeks until The Wolfman hits cinemas on February 12th, and so to help with the hype, a new featurette has popped up online in which Benicio Del Toro explains the differences between the classic Lon Chaney monster movie and the new update. Unsurprisingly, he reckon’s 2010’s version is superior, with more psychological depth and better characters. Whether he’s right is yet to be seen. Anyway, the featurette is worth a look, so click below to watch it.
Clash Of The Titans International Trailer – Loads of new footage in fresh look at the upcoming cg-fest
Boy those Greek Gods are an angry lot. Although it’s been announced Clash Of The Titans is being converted for 3D, that hasn’t stopped the promotional wheels from rolling, with a new International Trailer being released, which features loads of new footage of Perseus and co. dealing with all sorts of mythological beasties. It certainly seems Zeuz and his crew aren’t going to be a particularly friendly bunch in the CG-infested film. Clash of the Titans is released in the UK in early April, but click below for the new trailer.
Cemetery Junction Trailer – Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant try something different
After The Office and Extras, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant look like they’re trying something a little different with Cemetery junction, their first feature film as joint writers/directors. The film is set in England in the 1970s and follows three friends who dream of escaping their small town, and spend their days joking, drinking, fighting and chasing girls. However when one of them gets a new job and bumps into his old high school sweetheart, the gang are forced to make choices that will effect their lives forever. While still funny, the trailer makes the movie look more reflective and nostalgic than Gervais and Merchant’s other projects (although Gervais does have a role in the film, it’s only a fairly small one), although they’ve promised that despite the look of the film, it’s not a depressing and gritty Brit flick. Cemetery Junction hits UK cinemas on April 7th, but click below for the trailer.
The Losers Trailer – Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana and co. take revenge in action thriller
I still have high hopes for The Losers, even if the trailer isn’t perhaps quite as good as might be hoped. The likes of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana and Chris Evans play a CIA black ops team who were targeted for assassination and left for dead. Presumed dead, they head back to find the man who tried to kill them, an enemy known only as Max. Directed by Sylvain White, who’s best known for the making the rather different Stomp The Yard, The Losers is set to hit UK cinemas on April 9th. Click below to watch the trailer.
She’s Out Of My League Red Band Trailer – Jay Baruchel dates a hottie, now with f-bombs
A couple of weeks ago we posted the first trailer for She’s Out Of My League, the new comedy in which Jay Baruchel deals with dating a women who’s far more attractive and successful than he is, especially as his friends favourite hobby seems to be putting him down. Now a Red Band Trailer has arrived, which is similar to the first promo, but with added f-words and a lot more talk about men try to shave their pubic region. Click below to take a look. She’s Out Of My League is released in the UK on March 12th.
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps Teaser Trailer – First look at the sequel, plus new poster
It’s only a couple on months until Oliver Stone follow-up to his 80s ‘greed is good’ hit, Wall Street, hits cinemas, and now the first teaser trailer and poster for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps have been released (click on the image to the left to see a larger version of the poster). The film features Shia LaBeouf as a young man drawn into the corruption of the financial world, who makes an alliance with the newly out of jail Gordon Gekko (who’s also his future father-in-law), however whether Gordon is really after a shot at redemption isn’t entirely clear. The teaser mainly involves Gekko getting out of jail, which should excite fans of the original, although it also hints at how Stone wants to hit the current financial meltdown in the same way he did the greed of the 80s. Click below to take a look. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps hits UK cinemas on April 24th.
