Although the first trailer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was quite cool, it told us nothing about what the movie was about, instead just trying to get us excited about the return of Gordon Gekko. However now a new international trailer has arrived, which offers a bit more plot and gives us our first look at Josh Brolin as Bretton James and Carey Mulligan as Gekko’s daughter. The film features Shia LaBeouf as a young man drawn into the corruption of the financial world, who makes an alliance with the newly out of jail Gordon Gekko (who’s also his future father-in-law), however whether Gordon is really after a shot at redemption isn’t entirely clear. Click below for the new trailer. The film hits UK cinemas on April 23rd.
Greenberg Featurette – Ben Stiller discusses the Noah Baumbach flick
Ben Stiller’s certainly taking a bit of a change of direction with Greenberg, a film with a far more indie vibe than his usual movies, from Squid and the Whale writer/director Noah Baumbach. He plays Roger, who’s unemployed and ends up housesitting at his brother’s home in LA. He strikes up a friendship and awkward romance with his sibling’s assistant Florence (Greta Gerwig), while also dealing with the fact he’s no longer in the first flush of youth. Now a new featurette for the film has been released, in which Stiller and co. discuss the movie. The film is currently scheduled to hit UK cinemas in June, but click below for the featurette.

Dreamworks Animation’s How To Train Your Dragon is due to his cinemas on March 31st, and to help build the hype, a new viral featurette has been released, featuring a Viking teaching us, well, how to a train a dragon. Apparently there are various species and so you need to know what to do. Despicable Me UK Teaser Trailer – Another fun preview for the upcoming super-villain CG flick
Universal is being pretty smart with their marketing for the upcoming CG-animated film, Despicable Me. So far the trailers have told us little about the story, instead acting almost like miniature short cartoon of their own to introduce us to the film’s comedy world (you can see other promos here and here). This new UK teaser follows that theme, showing us nothing of the story, but being amusing all the same (presumably more story focussed trailer will arrive in the coming months). The film itself is about battling super-villains, with the normally despicable Gru (Steve Carell), planning to steal the moon in order to overtake Vector as the most evil villain on the planet. However he’s then faced with three orphan girls who see him as a potential father. The film hits the UK on October 15th, but click below for the new teaser.
