I do kind of wonder how Bruce Willis chooses his films, as while he they’re very variable, a lot are generic pap which he somehow makes more watchable. That seems to be the sort of movie Setup is, with Willis randomly joining 50 Cent and Ryan Phillippe for what appears to be a pretty standard bit of action, involving a group of friends who become involved in a potentially deadly diamond heist. Maybe it’ll be a masterpiece, but I’m thinking Setup’s gonna feel like a straight-to-DVD movie that’s only going to get a cinemas release due to the cast.
