Keanu Reeves has turned director for The Man Of Tai Chi, and now we get a new trailer, so we can get a feel for whether being behind the camera is a good place for The Matrix actor.
Indeed Keanu had plenty of Matrix help with the fights, as he hired Yuen Woo-Ping, who was the action choreographer on the Wachowski directed movies, to put the battles together. The movie is about a young martial artist (Tiger Hu Chen) who gets lured into an underground tournament in Beijing. Hes promised the chance for greatness by the scheming Reeves, but only if he survives the no rules, no referees and no-holds barred battles.
The film will be out later this year.
Snowpiercer marks Korean director Joon-ho Bong’s (The Host, Mother) English-language debut. The film is a dystopian sci-fi set on a ravaged Earth where the few human survivors are on the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe. However a revolution is brewing amongst the passengers inside.
I can already hear the shrill voice of the Daily Express decrying the fact the film world would dare to make a movie about Diana, but they have (and hopefully it will remind people she was a human being, not a saint).
A lot of things happened in slow-motion in ancient Greece if the 300 franchise is anything to go by. If you’d though replacing Zack Snyder with Noam Murro for 300: Rise Of An Empire would result in a different visual style, this trailer is here to show it won’t – indeed if anything it’s even more like 300 than 300 was.
The first trailers for The Wolverine largely concentrated on the action, but now a new one has a better feel for the plot of the movie, which sees Hugh Jackman’s Logan heading for Japan.
