After lacklustre box office for Paranormal Activity 4, the main franchise took a bit of a break (although the spin-off The Marked Ones), but now it’s coming back with what’s currently planned as the final instalment. As you’d hope, it promises to reveal all the series’ secrets.
This time the action goes back in time to show us a little more about the entity that plagued various people in the other movies. It follows Ryan, Emily andtheir daughter Leila, who unsurprisingly get plagued by something demonic – all of which is captured of video, of course, as apparently this is a supernatural baddie with a big ego, who must be on camera at all times.
The movie will also feature the return of Katie Featherstone from the first film, in demonic form.
The film will be out towards the end of the month.
