Normally if the DC Comics logo comes up in a trailer you’d expect people with superpowers running around in costumes, but the graphic novel adaptation Red is something slightly different and potentially a whole lot of fun. Bruce Willis stars as Frank Moses, a retired black ops agent who becomes the target of a high-tech goverment assassination attempt and must get his old low-tech posse back together to fight off the threat. Alongide Bruce, the film also stars Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Borgnine, Julian McMahon, James Remar and Rebecca Pidgeon. As this trailer shows, they’ve gone for a slightly tongue in cheek tone, which seems to work well, especially with Helen Mirren unable to stop killing people and John Malkovich going completely nuts.
