I’ve always thought that chairlifts on ski slopes looked like hideously dangerous contraptions and Frozen is going to do little to change my mind. Three friends (Kevin Zegers, Shawn Ashmore and Emma Bell) accidentally get trapped on a chairlift when a ski slope shut down for the week. While they dangle far off the ground, hypothermia and terror set in, and they have to contemplate desperate measures when they realise no rescue is coming and that by the time the lift is switched back on, they’re going to have experienced an agonising, freezing death. The trailer makes the film look pretty intense, and one that’s definitely worth looking out for. The film is set for release in the US on February 5th and will hopefully hit the UK not long after.
