While Mystery Team went down a storm at Sundance, it hasn’t managed to pick up major distribution in the US, and so has had to settle with some wonderful viral marketing campaigns, including a plan to get cinemagoers to demand the film comes to their town, as well as release a series of some great short films and clips. The latest of these shorts takes the simple but bizarre premise of what happens when you tell three guys sharing a house not to jerk off to a photo of a bown of fruit. Although you wouldn’t think it would be something that would be too tough to resist, the results are hilarious.
There’s still no UK release date set for Mystery Team, which is about a group of former child detectives trying to bring their naive investigation style to a double murder case, but click below for the great new ‘Don’t Jerk Off To This Video’ (although it’s prob NSFW).
