Up

I've not read any of the stuff that the reviewer refers to as people being worked up about UP. But I must say I think this review is a little unfair. I took my family to see it yesterday and it lived up to my expectations as an entertaining film.
The film manages to mix highs and lows and brings the audience along with it, I doubt there was anyone in the screen who didn't feel sad as the story of Ellie & Carl's life played out in the beggining leading to her passing away. But it also mixed in plenty of funny moments and also a little tension as you get caught up in the heroes moments of peril.
So I disagree with this slightly negative review, this film certainly entertained the audience yesterday which is what a film should do at the end of the day, and that is why I'm giving it FOUR stars!
