In the last few years, Iron Man and its sequel have made Jon Favreau one of the top directors in Hollywood. However he still make occasional trips in front of the camera, such as Couples Retreat and as one of the aliens in John Carter. Now he's in talks for another acting role, this time in the Universal Pictures comedy Identity Thief.

Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) is directing from a screenplay by Steve Conrad (The Weather Man), with Craig Mazin (The Hangover Part II) providing the most recent rewrite. Shooting is schedule to begin in the new few weeks.
