John Cusack and Evan Peters have signed on to co-star in the indie comedy Adult World, which recently started shooting in Syracuse, New York, with Scott Coffey directing from a script by Andrew Cochran.
Emma Roberts is playing 21-year old Amy Anderson, a recent college graduate with a degree in poetry, who is absolutely convinced she is set to he the next star of the literary world. She moves back home with her parents to write poetry, but with a stack of rejection letters, unpaid student loans, and no money, her parents force her to get a "real job." However Amy discover that the only place that will hire her is an erotic bookstore called Adult World.
John Cusack plays Rat Billings, Amy's hero and mentor who was one of the greatest poets of the early '90s. It's not known who Evan Peters will play, but he's likely to have got a decent supporting role, building on the exposure he got as psychotic teen Tate Langdon in American Horror Story.
