It's starting to seem there's not going to be anyone who isn't in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained - or at least that every role will be filled with a recognisable face. The latest to join the throng is Sacha Baron Cohen who Variety says is in final negotiations to join the cast.
Baron Cohen will play Scotty, a gambler who purchases Django's slave wife (Kerry Washington) to use as a female companion. Scotty is apparently a smaller role, but he plays a vital part in the story.
Baron Cohen will join a cast which includes Jamie Foxx as Django and Leonardo DiCaprio as evil plantation owner Calvin Candie, along with Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Gerald McRaney, Dennis Christopher, Kurt Russell and Laura Cayouette.
