It's always a good sign when Julianne Moore agrees to be in a movie, and now Variety reports that she and Greg Kinnear have inked deals to star in the upcoming indie comedy The English Teacher, directed by Craig Zisk.
The film follows high school English teacher Linda Sinclair (Moore), whose life is upended when a former star pupil returns to her small town after failing miserably as a playwright in New York. There's no news on who Kinnear will be playing, but as he's only three years younger than Moore, he presumably won't be the playwright.
The film will start shooting next month in New York.
