The first images from J. Edgar has arrived, thanks to EW, showing Leo DiCaprio having been given a bit of a makeover to play J. Edgar Hoover, the man who helped found the FBI and became its director for decades. Along the way he made many enemies, using underhand tactics to hold onto power and ensure Washington allowed him to do what he wanted to. There was also much speculation about his sexuality, with some saying he was a cross-dresser, some that he was gay (and in a relaltionship) and some that he was essentially asexual.
Clint Eastwood's much anticipated biopic of the man, which also stars the likes of Armie Hammer, Josh Lucas and Naomi Watts, is due to hit UK cinemas on January 20th, but see the first four pics from the movie above and below.
