First Posters For Legion

It's a film that seems to have completely flown under most people's radar, however Sony is using this week's Comic Con to up the anticipation for the film Legion, starring Paul Bettany. Indeed, in order to get people to turn up to the unheraded Legion Comic Con panel, they've bundled it with the far more hyped District 9. Sony's also draped San Diego in some very cool posters, which have suddenly got a lot of people very interested.

The film itself takes place in the American Southwest after a global apocalypse, where a group of unwitting strangers become humanity's last stand when they discover a truck stop waitress is pregnant with the Messiah and dark forces are out to stop her giving birth. Bettany plays the Archangel Michael, and he's the one they've chosen for the posters, so take a look at them below. Legion will be in cinemas in the UK on March 5th, 2010.
