Even though it's got some rave reviews at Sundance, a movie where most of the running time is just one guy (Ryan Reynolds) trapped underground in a coffin, deperate to escape, is a tough sell. As a result, they're devising some very cool and intriguing marketing to get people interested in Buried, ranging from simple but smart posters and motion posters, to a claustrophobic teaser trailer. Now they've produced a Saul Bass inspired poster, which brings to mind his classic images for the likes of Vertigo and The Man With The Golden Arm (which you can see below, underneath the new Buried poster).
It's rather cool, so revel in its retro-ness. Buried hits cinemas on October 8th.
