They're certainly hyping up The Hunger Games, in the hopes it will take over from Twilight as the top young adult franchise around. Now the first full trailer for the movie has arrives, which certainly make the movie look intriguing and that it may hold interest for those a little older than the target audience. Jennifer Lawrence i heads a cast that also includes Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci, to tell the tale of a future society where the US has broken down into separate factions, and the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in The Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which 'Tributes' must fight with one another until one survivor remains. Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence), is representing District 12, replacing her chosen younger sister. The film arrives in cinemas March 23rd, 2012.
