When a work-in-progress print of Hugo screened at the New York Film Festival recently, plenty of superlatives were thrown around. Many in attendance suggested this was the best live-action 3D movie yet, with director Martin Scorsese actually using the extra dimension to tell the story, rather than just having it there as a gimmick. We'll have to wait until December 2nd to find out if that's true, but a featurette has popped up online in which Scorsese takes us into Hugo's Parisian world, with plenty of footage that makes it look like this is going to be a very beautiful movie.
