If there's one genre that's been a stalwart for the British film industry it's gangster flicks, which seem perenially popular. The latest addition is London Boulevard, which stars Colin Farrell as a man newly released from prison who falls in love with a reclusive young movie star (Keira Knightley) and finds himself in a duel with a vicious gangster (Ray Winstone). The first trailer has now arrived, and it's certainly got plenty of 'cor blimey guvnor' about it, as well as some very big handguns. Interestingly it's based on a book by Ken Bruen, who also wrote Blitz, and we got the trailer for the film adaptation of that, starring Jason Statham and Paddy Considine, yesterday.
