It seems to be the year for normal people trying to be superheroes in the movies, as there's both Kick-Ass and Defendor hitting cinemas fairly soon, both of which deal with characters who have no special powers donning a mask to fight crime. While earlier previews for Defendor have concentrated on the idea of it being a bit of a comedy character study (which is apparently what is is), Kick-Ass seems to have convinced the people behind the movie to go a bit more action-oriented with this latest trailer. In the film Woody Harrelson plays a man who reveals to his psychiatrist that he believes he is a superhero who's determined to bring down the man he believes is his nemesis, Captain Industry (who may be a delusion), befriending a teenage prostitute (Kat Dennings) in the process. So it's sort of like Taxi Driver, but with comedy and costumes. Take a look at the new trailer below.
