Green Zone Featurette

As director Paul Greengrass says in this featurette, the idea behind Green Zone was to make a big Hollywood action movie that's appealing to a general audience, but about the situation in Iraq now. In fact the point of this promo almost seems to be to pre-empt accusations that because it's about Iraq it's going to be worthy and boring, by suggesting it's pretty much a Jason Bourne movie,but in the desert (with plenty of new action-packed footage to back that up). Damon play Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, who along with his team of Army inspectors are dispatched to find weapons of mass destruction believed to be stockpiled in the Iraqi desert. However while their dangerous mission fails to find any WMDs, they do stumble on an elaborate cover-up that could escalate the fighting.
