British rom-coms aways seem desparate to say how they're not like normal romantic comedies, almost as if they're slightly embarassed to be part of the genre, and the trailer for My Last Five Girlfriends is no exception. Nevertheless, the movie looks like it could be quite fun, with a quirky take on love, as Duncan (played by newcomer Brendan Patricks) narrates the story of what he learned from his last five girlfriends, who range from quirky to sophisticated, and dissects what went wrong. Based on the novel by philosopher Alain De Botton, the film hits UK cinemas in March. Click below to watch th trailer.
