One of Disney's big hopes for next year is The Sorceror's Apprentice, which gives a modern live action spin to the classic Mickey Mouse part of Fantasia. Nicolas Cage plays a master sorceror in New York, who must defend the city from his arch nemesis, Maxim Hovarth (Alfred Molina). As you might have guessed from the title, the sorceror needs an apprentice, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), who has hidden magical potential. As the film re-teams Cage (who has eve nuttier hair than normal) with director Jon Turteltaub, expect plenty of overblown action and special effects. Click below to take a look.
