The buzz for The Lovely Bones seems to have been fairly mixed, as while Peter Jackson is much beloved for Lord Of The Rings (and to a lesser extent King Kong), his new film seems to be a return to his earlier work (although not his really early, gory horror stuff), mixing the thrills of The Frighteners with the feel of Heavenly Creatures. However so far all we've seen is a trailer, but now a new French promo has arrived, which is in English but with subtitles, that gives us a look at some more footage from the film, and suggests it could certainly be quite a thrill ride. The film hits UK cinemas on January 29th, 2010 (although it's getting a Royal Film screening on November 24th). Click below to see the new French trailer.
