The first teaser trailer for Shutter Island didn't make it look like this new film from Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio was going to be very good. However, a new trailer has now emerged and it's much, much better, pitching the film as part drama, part thriller and part horror movie. In the film, DiCaprio plays a US Marshal who goes to the Shutter Island asylum for the criminally insane after one of the patients completely disappears. However, what starts as a simple investigation soon turns into something far more sinister. The adaptation of the Dennis LeHane (Mystic River) novel is due out next February, but click below to see the cool new trailer.
