RE: Clash of The Titans Trailer
I've seen a lot of negative comments about this trailer on various sites. Some are criticising the music - fair enough - some are saying it just looks like 300. Would that be 'cos it features blokes in Greek costumes, what with it being based on Greek mythology?? I think it looks great :-)

RE: Movie-A-Day: Back To The Future
If there is a film that had a significant impact on my life and really got me to love the movies, it would be The Wizard Of Oz. Watching it as a child, I was always amazed at how it switched from B/W to color and back to B/W, signifying the fantasy land that was Oz. The way every aspect of Dorothy's life was represented and turned into a caricature in her dream in order to show how they were seen through the eyes of an innocent girl was a deep and profound idea; one that it took me multiple viewings to fully comprehend. But it made me realize, as you were saying about BTTF, that good movies have such an ability to carry you through them, to live out an amazing dream, to transport you to another place and time. TWOO is escapism in its purest form - to me, anyway. I used to own it on videotape, and watched it frequently, as well as whenever it came on television, each time captivated by its magic. Over the years I've watched it less and less, so that it becomes more like a wonderful treasure to revisit and remember what makes movies great.

RE: The Proposal
I really enjoyed this film. I haven't laughed so much in ages! If you want total escapism, and a good laugh go and see this. The chemistry between Sandra Bullock as the boss and Ryan Reynolds as the assistant is brilliant, and seeing how the story goes you know what will happen, but who cares! Definitely a film that I would like to see again.

Welcome to the Movie Muser blogs!
Welcome to the Movie Muser blogs. As you'll notice, there's not much in here at the moment, as this part of the site has only just gone live.
If you're wondering how the blogs work, basically if you register for the site you can start commenting on news stories and trailers, add your own reviews underneath ours and talk to other Musers in the forum. You can then choose whether to add those thoughts to your very own Movie Muser blog feed, which has its own web address that anyone in the world can come and visit to find out your personal thoughts on film.
Of course it's not just limited to comments on what we write, as you can also add extra blog posts any any subject you wish, although we'd imagine that you'd want to talk about anything and everything movies and share your thoughts with the world.
Your posts will also show up in the 'Latest Muses' part of the 'Member Muses' section of the site, and we'll be picking out the best posts to add to the 'Featured Muses' feed, so the more you write, the more other musers will see what you've got to say! Anyone who comes to visit will be able to comment on your posts as well.
We hope you enjoy the site, and make you sure you let us know what you think either by e-mailing us at support@moviemuser.co.uk or through the 'Movie Muser Feedback' section of the forum.
Plus, you can keep up date with any official blog posts from us at www.moviemuser.co.uk/Blogs/Muser/MovieMuser.aspx

RE: Sherlock Holmes International Trailer
Brilliant trailer. Looks like this film will contain humour and fighting. Really makes me want to see this film. I have a bit of a wait though as it's not out until Christmas Day.

RE: Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen
Having been told by someone I know that this is a film for the 'lads' I must disagree. I really enjoyed this movie, especially for the escapism that it is!
I think that with some parts of the story it would help if you had seen the first film, but if you haven't I don't think that your enjoyment would be spoilt. It was a long film, but in the cinema that I saw it the surround sound was brilliant and really added to my enjoyment of the film.
One bug bear that I have is that the geography was a bit suspicious, but I think that the film makers used a bit of artistic licence to allow it to fit in with the story!

RE: Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen
Loved it! Great use of CGI, I would highly recommend it as it is a film that entertains (even if they need a geography lesson or 2).
It shows that you don't have to be a 'lad' to watch this film as it is a great family thiller!
Plus there is a hell of a lot of fighting :)
