Monsters got much praise when it screened at SXSW and Cannes, not least for being a full-on monster movie with a shooting budget of only $15,000, with all the effects done on home computers (although admittedly by people with plenty of experience). A few days ago some pictures showed up online, and now we've got the trailer, times to conicide with Comic-Con, where the film had a panel. Describes by some as having the potential to be this year's District 9, the film is set six years after a NASA space prove arrives back on Earth containing alien life, which grows, evolves and starts to cause havoc, turning the southern US and north of Mexico in an alien infested zone! The film focusses on two characters and their experience in this terrifying new world. The movie will be in UK cinemas on November 12th.
